No Stress Zone

It's kinda of hard trying to live a stress free life...don't you agree? I mean it doesn't have to be targeted at relationships or a certain thing, it's just the everyday hustle and bustle of life. From the time I wake up in the morning until the time I'm in a deep slumber, I constantly over think about things that I really have no control over. Yes, it does leave me a little tense...okay maybe a little bit more than tensed because even though there are the same hours in a day, it just seems like there is never a enough time to do all the things that you need to get done. I keep telling myself not to stress or worry about the little things but it's kinda how my mind functions. A person who is always striving to do better and leave a mark on this earth, always has something to think about. Although, showering is a must, there are days where I might take 2 showers just to ease the tension. Take care of yourself and your mental health.

Ledisi - High...this song gets me thru my day!

Wait...Did I forget to put my body butter on?

Fall is finally here in the Northwest! Yaaaayyyy…..naaaaay! I’m such a spring & summer baby. I mean don’t get me wrong, I totally love Fall…….colors only! I’m not ready for pumpkin spice this and that, I’m just not ready. Did you know they had the nerve to have pumpkin spice toothpaste ya’ll….like really?!? WHY??? This is also the season where people tend to “forget” to moisturize their skin...I’m one of them. I be trying to be up and out in the morning. Shower, clean teeth, clothes...and lets go! What I realized that just like the importance of drinking water, we also need to hydrate our skin. Hydration keeps our skin looking healthy and helps our skin cells rapidly repair itself. So go ahead and lather up with your favorite body butter to keep those skin cells happy.

We're Live!

We are so excited about our new site: www.barikibodycare.com. It's been a loooonnnnng time coming and I'm not even exaggerating on the "loooonnnnng" part either! I finally found a sistah, JENNIFER (yes, her name deserves to be in all caps and if I could've added a marque around her name, I would have done that too)...she tolerated me long enough that I let her have full control over my site. I gave her a base to work with and she made the magic happen. I'm so grateful for her! You'll hear me talk about her a lot.
